• $500 for institute tuition at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. for a program linking social studies and art through mythology
• $460 for tuition at an Advanced Placement European History workshop
• $1,000 toward expenses to attend the Vladka Meed Summer Seminar in Israel
• $300 to conduct a Civics Bowl in grade 7
