Applicant has not previously received FCSS Endowment funds as a goal of the Endowment is to provide funding to as many worthy projects as possible. (10 points)
Application includes a product, which can be used by other social studies educators. i.e. article for FCSS newsletter, conference presentation, teacher made lesson plans, etc. (10 points)
Application demonstrates a careful use of funds, does not exceed $2,500 and IS cost effective. (10 points)
Applications for mini grants focus on teacher developed materials, rather than commercial made materials. (10 points)
Applicant has evidence of support from local school district or FCSS Director. This may be documented via a letter from Principal, Supervisor or FCSS Director/Board Member. (5 points) |
