Summer Opportunities held in District #3

ECONOMIC EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY
The Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta hosted an economic education event, Evening at the Fed: Energy and the U.S. Economy, on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The reception and dinner was followed by a presentation and discussion of energy issues and the U. S. economy.  

FORT MOSE CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY
On June 12, 2006, from 8:00 am to 3:30 am participants visited the Fort Mose site in St. Augustine to discuss the historical significance of this area and the future development of the Interpretive Center for this site.  Participants reviewed current materials and resources to formulate curriculum guides for teachers.
