Dear Florida Teacher:

Did you know that you are eligible to participate (at no cost to you) in a Florida Center for Teachers content-rich, experiential week-long seminar if you have never attended one before?  Choose from among the following engaging 2007 topics:

Florida Folklife

The Social History of Modern Florida

Seminole and Miccosukee History and Culture

A fourth 2007 seminar on the Harlem Renaissance requires interdisciplinary teams of teachers from the same school to attend together and requires teachers to share the seminar costs with us.  Ideas for funding this seminar are on the website.

Here’s the link to the FCT webpage: <http://www.flahum.org/sections/fct/summer_seminars.html>

Click on the seminar titles for links to the detailed descriptions of the seminars.  You’ll find the links to the on-line application form at the bottom of the detailed descriptions.  If you have any questions, please call me at 727-873-2010 or e-mail me at aschoenacher@flahum.org.  I look forward to receiving your application.

Sincerely,

Ann Schoenacher
