50^th Anniversary of Florida Council for the Social Studies

Mark your calendar!!  Plans are moving forward for the 50^th Annual FCSS Conference that will be held October 10 through 13, 2007 in Orlando at the beautiful, new Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and Golf Club.

Many special commemorative activities are planned for our 50^th anniversary, including the unveiling of a new book about the history of FCSS and its impact on social studies education in Florida.

In addition to our usual 40+ exhibitors, approximately 80 sessions, and Teacher of the Year Dinner, a very special announcement is planned for Friday evening’s reception.
