Return to FCSS Celebrates 50th Anniversary at October Conference Home

         Bodo Randrianasolo, the interim Coordinator for Outreach and Training in Asian Studies at the University of Florida reminds that the deadline is approaching for the
Academic Year Seminar for Teaching About  Asia.
       This is a great opportunity for middle and high school teachers who want
to expand their horizon and begin incorporating solid material on Asia
into their curriculum.

       Books and tuition paid for and the seminar includes stipends for
travel and library materials. Instruction is by experts in the field and participants receive
graduate UF course credit.
        Teachers who are motivated and committed to continued professional development, please apply.  We begin reviewing applications August 15th, but can consider late
applications. 

        All teaching disciplines are eligible, including World History, Social Studies, Geography, Humanities & Language Arts, and Fine Arts.
